Adopt a Duck for The Great British Duck Race 
On Sunday 31st August 250,000 plastic ducks will be released on the River Thames near Hampton Court. The aim is to raise money for charity and set a new world record for the Biggest and Best Charity Duck Race.
The adoption fee is just £3 and the proceeds are shared between Chesterfield Timebank, Water Aid, NSPCC and the Down's Syndrome Association. If your duck is first across the winning line the prize is a whopping £10,000! There are 29 other prizes including TVs, Weekends away and Shopping Vouchers. We have a big puddle of ducks here at the office and they will be available at all our events throughout the summer. |

We are getting more and more requests in for assignments all the time, which is great as it shows Time Bank really is working. However, there is still a hard core of you out there who offer your services but don't ask for any help in return - do remember we are here for YOU as well! So don't sit at home hoarding all your hours - give us a bell at the office and let us help you spend them! That's what reciprocity and Time Banking is all about! |
